Oops! I Started a Business, So I Wrote the Guide I Needed

This book was originally supposed to be a small workbook for my Canva class.

Then I got carried away.

What began as a few helpful pages turned into Oops! I Started a Business, an interactive branding workbook for creative entrepreneurs, small business owners, makers, and anyone with approximately 47 ideas open in their brain at once.

Basically, I created the business branding guide I wish I had when I started.

A Branding Workbook for Creative Business Owners

Starting a business can feel exciting, until someone asks you to define your target audience, brand personality, content strategy, or visual identity.

Suddenly, choosing a cute logo is no longer the only thing on the to-do list.

Oops! I Started a Business helps you work through the different pieces of building a recognizable brand, including:

  • Defining your brand personality

  • Choosing brand colors and fonts

  • Understanding your ideal customer

  • Creating a more cohesive visual style

  • Organizing scattered business ideas

  • Developing content and marketing ideas

It is part business workbook, part branding guide, part creative junk journal, and part encouraging business best friend.

An ADHD-Friendly Business Guide

This is not a textbook filled with complicated business language.

The pages are designed to feel interactive, approachable, visual, and fun. There is room to write, brainstorm, doodle, make mistakes, change your mind, and develop a brand that actually feels like you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You just need a place to start.

Whether you recently opened a small business, are planning a creative side hustle, or have been operating for years but still feel like your branding is all over the place, this workbook will help you turn your creative chaos into a clearer direction.

You started the business. Now let’s make it look and feel like one.

Shop Oops! I Started a Business and begin building a brand that makes sense, stands out, and still feels completely like you.
